Share The Damn Road!

I don’t know if that’s really what the typical motorist wants to hear, but as a casual cyclist, I can sympathize with the guy or gal who spends a lot of time out there among the cars.

Started by pro cyclist, Phil Gaimon, Share the Damn Road, offers cycling jerseys that put the cyclist’s thoughts out there for drivers to see.

The goal is to convey messages of safety and cyclist’s rights, but there is an element of humor and frustration, which we feel cannot be denied in the cyclist/motorist relationship, so these jerseys are not for wimps.

I wonder if this might be a more polite way to get my point across to the inconsiderate motorist who seems offended by my hand gestures.
